Terms of Service

Last updated October 1, 2026

These terms govern your use of Tessel. By creating a workspace you agree to them on behalf of your organization. Replace them with your own terms before you publish.

Your account

You are responsible for the people you invite and for keeping sign-in methods secure. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your data

You own your data. You grant Tessel the rights needed to run queries and show results to people you authorize, and nothing more.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Tessel to break the law, to probe or disrupt our systems, or to resell the service without a written agreement.

Plans and billing

Paid plans renew each month or year until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise. We give 30 days’ notice before a price change.

Availability

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime on paid plans. Credits for missed targets are described in the service level agreement.

Ending the agreement

You can close your workspace at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms after notice, or at once when needed to protect other customers.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
